Heroes Guild is a weekly Dungeons & Dragons mission night built around short, fast-paced adventures from One-Shot Wonders.
Each session, players choose two 60-minute missions from the Guild Quest Board. Every mission has its own objective, danger, reward, and story hook, giving the party a full night of adventure made up of two focused quests.
You might be sent to recover a stolen relic, protect a caravan, investigate a strange magical disturbance, rescue someone in danger, clear out a monster threat, or solve a problem that only brave adventurers can handle.
Complete missions, earn rewards, increase your renown, and rise through the ranks of the guild.
How Heroes Guild Works
1. Choose Two Missions
At the start of each session, the party is presented with a selection of available missions from the Guild Quest Board.
The group chooses two quests to complete that evening. Each mission is adapted from One-Shot Wonders and designed to be fast, focused, and easy to jump into.
2. Complete the Job
Each mission has a clear objective.
Some missions may focus on combat. Others may involve exploration, negotiation, investigation, problem-solving, or difficult choices.
Because each mission is short and focused, players get to experience different styles of D&D in a single evening.
3. Earn Renown
Successful missions increase your standing within the guild.
As your renown grows, your character becomes more trusted, more recognised, and more valuable to the organisation.
Higher renown means access to more dangerous missions, greater rewards, and more fame within the guild.
4. Rise Through the Ranks
Your character may begin as a new recruit taking simple jobs from the board, but every completed mission adds to your reputation.
Over time, higher-renown heroes may be trusted with more difficult contracts, rare opportunities, powerful enemies, and prestigious guild assignments.
What Makes Heroes Guild Different?
Two Adventures in One Night
Instead of one long adventure, Heroes Guild gives players two short missions in a single session. This keeps the pace high and gives every night a sense of variety.
Missions from One-Shot Wonders
The adventures are adapted from One-Shot Wonders, a collection of short fantasy RPG sessions covering a wide range of themes, objectives, locations, monsters, and adventure styles.
That means each week can feel different, with missions ranging from light-hearted problems and local mysteries to dangerous monster hunts, dungeon jobs, strange magical events, and legendary threats.
Player Choice
The Quest Board lets the party decide what kind of trouble they want to tackle.
Do you take the safer job with a reliable reward, the strange mystery with unknown risks, or the dangerous contract that promises greater renown?
Renown and Progression
Your actions matter beyond a single session.
As you complete missions, your reputation grows. Higher renown unlocks higher-level missions, greater rewards, and greater fame within the guild.
